The most prominent challenges identified during our primary research were inconsistencies in the implementation of identical components and visual discrepancies across the interface. Spacing, padding, and positioning varied across elements.
CHALLENGES
❌
Visual Inconsistency
Identical components are implemented inconsistently causing discrepancies.

❌
Implementation Errors
Spacing, padding, and positioning were often misapplied across components.

❌
Design System Guidelines
Ambiguities in the design system led to varied and inconsistent implementations.

SOLUTION
Executing and managing a UX Audit of a such a scale can be stressful at times. In order to establish successful communication across Product Managers and Engineering teams, and making the audit document easily exportable for improved collaboration,
we developed a concept of
template-based
figma-framework.
Component/Page
Detailed issue description highlighting the specific component or page to facilitate stakeholder navigation.
Categorising the issue as, implementation error,
interaction error or design error
Categorising as high, medium or low, based on impact, user needs and engineering effort

This sheet facilitated easy navigation through the audit specification document, with each item numbered according to the corresponding screenshot of each issue audited within the module.
Issues were categorised based on Error Type and Priority, which could later be addressed easily by respective teams.
We used tables that were easily exportable making them simple to share and accessible to all stakeholders.
