Match Between System and the Real World
To design effective empty states for cards—whether due to missing permissions or the absence of content—we used clear, user-friendly UX copy. The messaging was written in terms familiar to end users, helping them understand why content wasn’t visible and what, if anything, they could do next.

This project was seen as a perfect example of harmonised working model between UX, Research team, UA, PM and Development team and was recommended by the Product Lead to be nominated for SAP Data-Driven Insights Awards, which later successfully received a runner-up position.
Presented at SAP D-com(Developer Community Yearly Event) the case highlighted how grounding design decisions in real user data empowers teams to build more intuitive experiences that boost efficiency, satisfaction, and adoption.
What This Meant for Business

What This Meant for Me
1
Product Knowlegde
I believe you can never know enough about the product. Instead of just focusing on my specific area, I found that having a broader understanding helped me see the bigger picture more clearly.
2
Stakeholder Management
Regular feasibility checks and brainstorming sessions with the development team played a key role in helping us deliver a strong product and also building strong interpersonal relationships.
3
Customer engagement
I proactively volunteered to lead user engagement efforts and saw it as a valuable opportunity to understand user’s workflows, and uncover pain points through interviews and contextual inquiries.
